Special Customer Mention... Phil & Sue Dyson
Phil and Sue started their motorhoming life in 1996 when they bought their first motorhome, a Swift Lifestyle, from Josh. They had two boys who started racing Mini’s, which Dolphin sponsored. Phil and Sue changed their van to an Auto-Sleeper Trooper. The boys continued to race both cars and bikes which involved a lot of travelling all over the country. Over the years Phil and Sue have regularly changed their motorhomes to suit what they were doing at the time which at one point included towing vintage tractors. They also used to show dioramas at steam shows, which raised money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Phil and Sue have run their own business, ‘Dyson King’, an architectural ironmongers, since 1981. After their children grew up and moved out, their motorhome was very much an opportunity to escape their busy work life and get some downtime.
They have recently collected their 40th motorhome from us at Dolphin!! An Elddis Envy 135. It’s fair to say they have tried their fair share of motorhome styles, shapes and manufacturers…. but they’ve never strayed from Dolphin! Thank you for being such loyal and lovely customers. The fact Sue never turns up to branch without an amazing homemade cake in her hand has, of course, nothing to do with our fondness for them!
Sue has been very poorly recently and is looking forward to escaping in this for some recuperation. We wish her the best and them both many more years of happy motorhoming adventures.
